Your canoe or kayak trip begins or ends at the Nissequogue River State Park in Kings Park or the "Headwaters" at the Paul T. Given County Park in Smithtown. Timing is critical when paddling up or down the Nissequogue River since it is and estuary. A rising tide gives one the advantage when paddling from near the River Mouth to the Headwaters. Likewise, a falling tide assists you when paddling downstream toward the Nissequogue River State Park near where the Nissequogue River empties into the scenic Long Island Sound. |
At the end of
your trip, the staff will load the boats on our transport
vehicles and you will be taken back to your cars in our
